Gender reference

On some of our pages, we deliberately address our customers without the use of gender-related forms of address or pronouns.
On these pages, we use the masculine form (generic masculine).

We do this because some of our customers already have difficulties with the German language (e.g. functional illiterates, foreign mother tongue, etc.). We want to avoid making it difficult for them to find important information on our website.

We ask for your understanding that we deviate from the usual language usage convention in this area.
